Ski Chalets France

For this winter holiday, why not pick from our wide range of self catered ski chalets and catered ski chalets in France. We offer a range of ski chalets in the regions of La Plagne Montalbert, La Plagne 1800, La Rosiere, Morzine and Les Arcs.

Plagne Montalbert is one of 10 villages that make up the La Plagne ski area. Tree-lined runs hold the snow until very late in the season and the slopes are covered by a network of snow cannons; so runs all the way home are practically guaranteed. A network of interconnecting chairlifts takes you right up to the topmost resorts.

Plagne 1800 is one of the 10 villages that make up La Plagne it is just below La Plagne centre and is surrounded by pine trees.

The village of La Rosière is a well-kept French secret. A purpose built resort, it has a rustic Savoyard feel with low rise chalet-style accommodation. The area is known for the famous St Bernard dogs which can still be found in the resort today.

Les Arcs is one half of the Paradiski area, it has over 200km of pistes and 60 lifts  and has guaranteed snow back to resort all season long it is also home to Aiguille Rouge, Europe's longest piste which is 7km in length and a 2100m vertical descent!

The Les Arcs is actually made up of four modern, purpose built resorts; Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, as well as a number of smaller, more traditional villages, namely; Villaroger, Peisey, Plan Peisey, Vallandry, Nancroix and Landry (which combined make up the area known as Peisey Vallandry), making it one of the most extensive and varied ski areas in the world.

Morzine is one of the 13 villages that make up the Portes du SoleilLa Plagne. There are 6 resorts in Switzerland and the remaining 7 in France. There are 235 lifts and 650 kms of marked piste making it one of the worlds biggest ski areas!

Courchevel 1300 or 'Courchevel Le Praz' as it is known by the locals, is the original village that dates from the 17th Century. It is packed with rural French charm, with quaint narrow streets bordered by rustic old-timbered farm buildings (many of which are now chic restaurants or shops).

The skiing in the Three Valleys is legendary. The lift system services over 600km of groomed pistes, and is the largest inter-linked ski region in the world. Other resorts connected to Courchevel include Meribel, Mottaret, Val Thorens, Reberty, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville. The best of the skiing is generally considered to be on the Courchevel side of the mountain.
