Alpine Legends ski pass launches this season

UPDATED on 21st November 2015
The launch of the Alpine Legends ski pass has been delayed until the 2016/17 season.
A brand new ski pass has been launched across the Tarentaise region for the season ahead, which is set to unlock one of the largest areas of skiable terrain.

Called the Alpine Legends Pass, it will include skiing across the Three Valleys, Paradiski and Espace Killy (the collective name for Val d’Isere and Tignes), providing a total skiable area of over 1,325km. It’s fantastic news for those already looking forward to their La Plagne ski trips later this year, offering them the chance to discover more of the area during their holiday.

1,300 km of snow with just a single ski pass

The huge area will be accessible through a network of 391 different lifts across the Tarentaise region, including La Plagne, Meribel, Val Thorens and Les Arcs. It means that skiers can, for the first time, experience all these ski areas through purchasing a single pass. With so much skiing on offer, it’s the ultimate pass for mountain users who really want to make the most of their holidays.

Such a lift pass does come at quite a price however, and at €340 (around £245) for six days of skiing, it is believed to be the first ski pass outside of Switzerland to cost more than €300. As the price is around 10 per cent higher than the ticket cost for the individual regions, the amount of skiing available makes the pass well worth the price if you want to visit all these areas.

If you have already booked your skiing holiday with us and don’t yet have your ticket to the mountain, we can offer a range of ski lift passes in all the resorts where we offer chalets, and many are available at a discounted price.
