This 1st floor two bedroomed apartment (situated above the Valsport ski hire shop) has THE perfect position in this charming resort. It is situated literally opposite the main lift station and at the foot of the home piste. The unspoilt traditional and totally charming village pedestrian centre is less than one minute's walk.

 

The apartment (comfortably sleeping four) gives approximately 40 square metres of living space (plus a very usable balcony with gorgeous view - see snowy photo of the chalets in the trees) so is perfectly comfortable for 4 people. In fact many apartments sleeping 4 people in France would be half the size. There is a double/twin bedroom and separate small bunk bedroom; bathroom (bath with shower attachment and basin) and separate WC. The good sized sitting room with splendid views up the mountain gets the afternoon sun as does the balcony accessed from the sitting room and double bedroom.

The apartment benefits from Denon Hi-Fi (CD and radio) and quality 26 inch (66cm) flat screen cable TV (50 channels), DVD player and Wi-Fi internet connection.

The kitchen area has oven, 4 ring electric hob, fridge and dishwasher.

The charming village of Grimentz is two hours from Geneva, or just 40 minutes from Sion Airport. It offers high, snow sure skiing (from 1,600m - 2,900m) that is mainly East and North facing. The piste skiing is suitable for beginners and intermediates which makes it a great destination for families. However, the off-piste terrain is exceptional (and largely untracked) making it also a great resort for those looking for powder and ski touring possibilities. Enjoy!
