Driving to Morzine
Our Chalets in Morzine are approximately
600 miles from Calais, which is about a nine hour drive (at peak
times this may be much longer). It's an easy drive, being largely
motorways, but you might well want to take your time and enjoy the
French countryside too. A good website for route planning in France
is www.mappy.fr.
To get across the English Channel there
are plenty of ferry services, plus the Eurotunnel. Try www.eurotunnel.com or www.poferries.com etc. If you want to take
a more leisurely drive down to La Plagne, there are ample
opportunities to stop off in scenic and interesting tourist spots.
There are a number of hotel chains that you can book with including
Premier Classe and
the Accor Hotels Group.
Their web sites are in English, often include local tourist
information, and offer on line booking facilities
