Travelling To Morzine Ski Resort

By Air

Geneva airport is the best and closest airport to use for Morzine at a distance of 65 km and takes approximately 1 hour to 1hour and 30 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions.

Onward Travel from the Airports

Transfers

We are pleased to be able to offer a free transfer service to our chalet in Morzine

Car Hire

Car hire is often a cheaper way of getting to the resort if there are only a small number of you.Its an easy drive from the airport.

If arranging car hire yourself and you are arriving at Geneva airport hire the car on the Swiss side of the airport as this is much easier. Please note that whilst traveling in the Alps snow chains are mandatory from December to April and you can be fined and denied access to the mountains if you do not have them.

Bus

There are a number of bus services to Morzine from Geneva Airport

Driving to Morzine

Our Chalets in Morzine   are approximately 600 miles from Calais, which is about a nine hour drive (at peak times this may be much longer). It's an easy drive, being largely motorways, but you might well want to take your time and enjoy the French countryside too. A good website for route planning in France is www.mappy.fr.

To get across the English Channel there are plenty of ferry services, plus the Eurotunnel. Try www.eurotunnel.com or www.poferries.com etc. If you want to take a more leisurely drive down to La Plagne, there are ample opportunities to stop off in scenic and interesting tourist spots. There are a number of hotel chains that you can book with including Premier Classe and the Accor Hotels Group. Their web sites are in English, often include local tourist information, and offer on line booking facilities

Train from the UK

You can catch a train from London St Pancras with a change in Paris
