Ski Chalets in Les Arcs, France
Les Arcs is a brilliant ski resort for skiers and boarders of
all ability ; the slopes offer a great variety and some of the
longest descents in the Alps. There is an excellent area of
woodland runs and great cruising mixed with some hard core steep
stuff.
Les Arcs is one half of the vast region now known as Paradiski,
Les Arcs alone has over 200km of piste and 60 lifts
together with many great mountain restaurants. Overall
there is something like 239 pistes in the whole of the Paradiski
region and 425km of skiing linked by the magnificent Vanoise
Express linking Les Arcs to La Plagne.
The resort is made up of a number of differing
villages, the older more traditional ones being the likes of
Villaroger, Peisey, Plan Peisey, Vallandry, Nancroix
and Landry and then four higher villages of Arc 1600,
1800, 1950 and 2000.
Our chalet La
Laiterie is in the centre of Paradiski in the village
of Peisey Nancroix, a picturesque working village with lots of old
buildings and yet just a short distance away from the lifts.
It will only take you 5 minutes to walk to the lift and be in the
centre of the whole Paradiski region.
La Laiterie is a restored Alpine farm building that has been
created by using reclaimed timbers and local stone giving the
chalet great character. It is located in Peisey Nancroix which is a
great location to take advantage of the entire Paradiski region
being right by the magnificent Vanoise Express .There is an
open-plan living and dining area with a large fireplace; 8
bedrooms, 6 of which are fully en-suite and two of which share a
bathroom/toilet. The chalet sleeps 16 to 18 people and has a sauna
room with ski boot heaters.
