Skiing in Courchevel
The skiing in the Courchevel Three Valleys is legendary. The
lift system services over 600km of groomed pistes, and is the
largest inter-linked ski region in the world. Other resorts
connected to Courchevel include Meribel, Mottaret, Val Thorens,
Reberty, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville. The best of the
skiing is generally considered to be on the Courchevel side of the
mountain.
Just a 5-minute gondola ride up to Courchevel 1850, and you are in
the thick of it all. Or you can choose to take the Foret bubble out
of Le Praz (an 8-minute ride) and link directly in to the La Tania
and Meribel slopes.
The runs back down to Le Praz are tree lined and supported by snow
cannons, so you can generally make it all the way back to your
chalet right up until the end of the season.
