Plagne Montalbert, France
There are two options for lessons
1. ESF (Ecole de Ski Francais)
This has a large ski school with over 50 instructors in La
Plagne Montalbert, private and group lessons are available. If you
need to book lessons you must book online at their website which is
available by clicking here please note
that online bookings is normally available shortly towards the
end of October. You can always phone them on 00 33 47 90 97 724 and
they usually have somebody that speak English.
2. The acclaimed Oxygene Ski School
Although based in La Plagne Centre their morning lessons
start at 10am in La Plagne Centre which gives plenty of
time for people to ski over (except beginners) please note
that you will need to ski for about 30 minutes to get there. To

We only recommend Ski Oxygene for your lessons in addition
there are other ski schools in the area including ESF
Oxygene is an international ski school and the
instructors all speak very good English. Whilst based in La Plagne
Centre for skiers this is only a few minutes away now from our
chalets on the new chairlift that is located directly outside our
chalets. For beginners Oxygene will come to the chalets to
pick you up in their free shuttle bus. Lessons generally start
at 10am.

Private lessons can also be arranged please see the website for
further details. If required Oxygene can look after your
children after their morning lessons which finish at 12.30pm
by taking them to lunch followed by supervised play and
then you can pick them up between 2.30 to 2.45pm. The cost per day
for this facility is €27, or €130 for 6 days

La Rosière, France
In La Rosiere we highly recommend the local ESF ski school or
the Elite Ski School (which is a British ski school) due to the
following reasons:
- They are located very close to the chalets
- They provide lessons in English
- There is a maximum of 8 children per instructor (except 16/02
to 16/03)
- We have only ever had wonderful reviews of their services, in
fact the ski school director in British and so understand the needs
of the UK holidaymaker

The Elite ski school only provides private lessons, ski clinics,
off piste taster lessons and Heliskiing - for all these

2012/3 season prices
Please note that there are other options available eg all day
lessons etc please see the ESF website for full details. Children
are aged 3 years to 12 years anybody of 13 years and older is an
adult.
There is a 10% discount for families that have 3 children in
lessons (must be the same family name) and for 5 day lessons there
is a small discount
In addition ESF organises many other events such as torchlight
skiing, races and heli skiing and from La Rosiere centre there are
the following additional courses for children:
- Too Kool for School - this is for 12-18 year olds and is a
different approach to lessons and is from 2pm to 5pm at approx €182
for 6 days
- Competition - up to 12 years old - this is a group lesson for
children who have already reached their gold star and is organised
2pm to 5pm for 6 days at approx €182
- Performance - Teenagers and Adults racing camp from 9am to
`12pm at approx €192 for 6 days

Grimentz, Switzerland
There are two ski schools in Grimentz: The Swiss Ski
School (ESS) and The International Ski & Snowboard School
(ESI). Both ski schools employ English speaking instructors.
Please note that neither ski school offer group adult lessons
but they do offer group lessons for children.
When you have booked with us we now offer a pre-booking service
with the ESI; for bookings with ESS please book directly with
them.

Morzine - France
We recommend the following ski schools in Morzine:
ESF
The ski school in Morzine offers group or individual
lessons and they have over 150 ski instructors, in addition for
children they run the Piou Piou Club which
looks after children aged 3 and over and offers a packed activity
programme in our ESF-only snow garden.
The ski school meets at the Pleney lift and you can either catch
the free bus which stops near to the chalet or when our minubus is
availlable we will be able to drop you there in the

Courchevel - France
We recommend the New Generation Ski School in
Courchevel Le Praz as they have an office in the village and last
year our guests were very impressed by their service and they all
are either British or speak English. They offer a wide ange of
lessons from adult and childrens group lessons through to private
lessons, technical clinics, skill sessions and proxplore programmes

ESF Les Arcs as they meet in Plein Peisey a short distance
away from the chalet ESF have English speaking instructors and
there is a meeting point in Peissey so is ideal for beginners, to
