La Plagne/Paradiski
The Vanoise Express is a spectacular double-decker cable
car, linking La Plagne and Les Arcs. The result is Paradiski, one of
the world’s biggest skiing areas.
The numbers are boggling: all told, there are no less than 242 pistes, 425km, 35 black, 66 red, 129 blue and 12 green, plus 4 snowparks and one halfpipe. They are serviced by 134 lifts, with lower
slopes at 1200 metres yielding to the glaciers at 3250 metres; so skiing
is assured throughout the season.
Quite simply, there’s no excuse to be bored on a Mountain Heaven
holiday. To download lift/piste maps of the resort please click

The runs into Plagne Montalbert are either red or blue
and can thus be tackled by virtually all skiers. They are tree lined
too, and hold the snow well and together with the extensive network of
snow cannons and the fact that the village faces North West
ensures snow.
For snowboarders La Plagne is also well-served, with
a permanent half pipe in Plagne Bellecote, a snow park in Belle–Plagne
and a snowboarding area with sound system in Montchavin/Les Coches and
Champagny en Vanoise. For cross country skiers, Plagne Montalbert offers
90km of marked trails including tremendous scenic forest trails and access
to several high level routes.

Ski Hosting
Due to the size of the area we are happy on two days per week to offer ski hosting. Please note that ski hosting is only for intermediate skiers and above and it is not a lesson. Ski hosting is simply showing you some of the area and our ski hosts are unable to offer any advice whatsoever on your technique. Ski hosting is not pre-bookable as it is weather dependant. In addition ski hosting is only offered to those guests who purchased a lift pass through us and where applicable if guests don’t have their own skis have purchased ski equipment hire though us.
Mountain Restaurants
There are many fantastic restaurants on the mountains ranging from Le Forperet by Montalbert
(great for lunch or a late afternoon drink to watch the sun going
down) to our favourite Chalet Verdon Sud (00 33 (06) 21 54 39 24)
on the Champagny side and onto Chez
Pat du Sauget near Les Coches.
Another great restaurant that you must visit is Plein Soleil which is towards
Les Coches/Monchavin and their website is at www.lepleinsoleil.com 0

We do recommend that you book for your lunch as these are very popular restaurants!
