Children
Ski lift passes are free to the under 6’s and children are welcomed in all Plagne Montalbert’s bars and restaurants.
For older children or those who can already ski, most of the instructors speak excellent English and children are warmly welcome to both group and private lessons.
Childcare
For the younger guests, Montalbert has comprehensive childcare
facilities. “Les
Bambins” is a creche located right at the foot of the slopes and accepts
children from 18 months to 6 years old. From age 3, “le Club des Piou
Piou” gives
kids their first skiing experience, and for 5 to 6 year olds, “Les Oursons” sees
them head for the slopes in well-supervised fashion. Childcare does have to
be pre-booked. To book please do so online following the procedures for
in the ski lessons as child care is run by
ESF.

Please note when booking club Piou Piou please contact the
Ski School. You need to book the first day only and then IF your
child is able to ski/be left by themselves then you are guaranteed a place
for the rest of the week and payment would be made in the village.
Private Nannies
SafeHandsFrance are an established local business, providing child care services
in the Paradiski area. Safehands provide live in/out nannies to ensure
that you can enjoy your holiday without worry, knowing that your child
is safe, happy and well entertained. They will come to your chalet
in the beautiful resort of Montalbert to meet the family and discuss
the week ahead and any special requirements that your children may
have, such as ski school attendance.
Your children can expect a variety of fun activities to keep them
stimulated and entertained. A mix of painting, crafts, stories, video,
games, sledging and snowman building along with lunch, mid morning and
afternoon snacks, provide a balanced day.
The private nanny service operates from 9.00am to 5.00pm each day.
One nanny is permitted to look after:
ONE child aged 6 months or under,
or TWO children aged 7 months to 2 years,
or THREE children aged 3 and over,
or FOUR children aged 4 and over
All staff are experienced / qualified people that
you can trust and are security checked, have excellent references and
are usually qualified to UK best practice standards. A full time nanny
for 6 days per week 9am to 5pm is approximately £495 per week excluding peak weeks

Babysitting
We do not offer babysitting services, however there are a number
of local residents that advertise their services, please contact the tourist
office when you arrive. Please note we cannot vouch for these private services
as those providing services will not be police checked.
