With catered and self-catered luxury ski chalets in La
Plagne, Mountain Heaven provides ski accommodation in one of the
most popular of the French Alpine resorts.
Created in 1961 and made up of ten villages, La Plagne sits on
the one side of Bellecote, a mountain that makes up part of the
Graian Alps. Mountain Heaven has chalets in two of its resorts,
Plagne Montalbert and Plagne 1800, both modern resorts opened in
the 1980s.
La Plagne is linked to Les Arcs, creating what is known as
'Paradiski', a large area of uninterrupted skiing and stunning
beauty in the French Alps. The two halves of the La Plagne / Les
Arcs Paradiski are linked by the Vanoise Express, a double-decker
cable car, capable of carrying over 200 people.
La Plagne is suited to all levels of skier, boasting a wide
variety of slopes that incorporate beginner-friendly Green runs,
the intermediate and abundant Blue runs, through to the advanced
and expert Red and Black runs. There is also plenty of opportunity
for off-piste skiing, particularly on the North face of Bellecote
with its breathtaking views and powder snow. A guide is recommended
when going off-piste.
Mountain Heaven provides a wide variety of luxury chalets in the
La Plagne resort, all located at the heart of the action with easy
accessibility to the local facilities and the piste. The ski
chalets we offer are kitted out with all the modern conveniences
you would expect, including spacious living areas with TV and DVD,
fully fitted kitchens with cooker, microwave and dishwasher and
much more.
