Travel
Mountain Heaven do not include travel which gives you the flexibility to choose how and when you would want to travel

By Car
La Rosiere  is approximately 600 miles from Calais, which is about a nine hour drive (at peak times this may be longer) we will send you full directions if you need them

By Air
There are four airports within easy reach of La Rosiere – Geneva and Lyon (approximately 2.5 hours), Grenoble (approximately two hours) and Chambery (approximately one hour). All can be reached by low-cost airlines; so take a look at these sites to get the best deal. Remember, low-cost airlines offer the best prices to early bookers!  We have just teamed up with Satellite Travel who specialise in ski flights to the Alps from a range of regional airports in the UK. Transfers
As many people like to make their own way to resorts in the Alps we have excluded transfers in our prices so you can decide when and how to travel. Many companies get their chalet hosts to also undertake the transfers and we deliberately do not run our own transfers service as we believe that our chalet hosts should be fresh for when you arrive so you are welcomed correctly with a drink and a great meal.

For transfers we have partnered with Alpine cab who offers a luxury transfer in their modern fleet of vehicles. Each is equipped with 4 wheel drive and DVD players etc  As we know that transfers can be very expensive in the Alps for our catered operation only we are able to offer a fixed price transfers to our chalet please contact us for a quotation telling us with airport you are arriving at.  Please note that transfers do get booked up quickly so please contact us as soon as possible.

Car Hire
We are now pleased to offer highly discounted car hire to all of our guests, for 2007/8 we are now offering 15% discount on all car hire, the amount will be added to your final invoice. If arranging car hire yourself and you are arriving at Geneva airport hire the car on the Swiss side of the airport as this is much easier. Please note that whilst traveling in the Alps snow chains are mandatory from December to April and you can be fined and denied access to the mountains if you do not have them.
