Children

We understand how important it is for children to enjoy the family ski holiday and recently La Rosière obtained the quality charter for families - the "Famille Plus Montagne"

"Famille Plus" is the only national charter to include the quality of service in holiday resorts for families with children. It is recognised by the Ministry of Tourism in France.

In order to have this award the resort must adhere to many controls and demands and specifically the resort must:
* Provide a personalised welcome for families
* Offer entertainment adapted to all ages of children and offer activities for all ages (together and separately)
* Have prices adapted to all ages of children
* Provide a nearby medical service for the smaller injuries.
* Offer professionals to accompany the children.

Our childcare is provided by ESF who have built a new facility in Les Eucherts. They have English speaking nannies and the baby club is provided for children from 18 months to 3 years. Please note that the baby club only operates on a Monday to Friday basis for our chalet and so no it is not available on a Saturday. You can choose a number of differing combinations from mornings only, afternoons only , lunch to be included or excluded or full days, with or without lunch.
 
From ages 3 – 12 years old if children don’t want to ski they can enter the Les Galopins leisure club please note however this only operates on a Monday to Friday basis for our chalet and so there is no childcare on a Saturday. At ages 3 to 4 years old children can have a try at a fun ski sessions in a special area for small children only and this is £7 for one 1.5hr trial session and for skiing on each of the 5 days when the club operates the costs would be £35.

For children you can also have a combination of group lessons and then they can enter the leisure club.
